BE CAREFULL ABOUT WHAT YOU FEED YOUR PETS!!!

Five years ago a wonderful couple purchased a beautiful, sweet shaded golden female kitten from me.

This couple has no children and the kitten, who they named Chloe, became the love of their lives.

In the winter of 2007 when the pet food contamination with wheat gluten from China was announced, Chloe became very ill with a kidney infection. She spent a week at the vet. She would have died if they had not taken her to the emergency clinic the minute they noticed she was sick.

Chloe survived miraculously. However, after a few months she became sick again and spent another week at the vet. It was still the kidney infection from the contaminated food. She got better for a few months.

However, last week, in October of 2008 she went back to the vet for another week. Now this precious girl has to be given fluids under the skin 2-3 times a week. She is still suffering from the kidney infection from the contaminated food.The vet taught the owners how to give the fluids. They feel so bad to have this precious girl going through this and it is terribly sad and stressful for them.

Chloe was eating one of the most recognized and  used brands of cat food when she became ill. It is sold at all pet stores.

Another good friend of mine lost her beautiful silver shaded neuter from bad pet food. He was her husbands little soul mate. They are devastated. They were also feeding one of the main, most recognized brands of cat food sold in pet stores.
